Cyclone Converter Generator

Introduction

  • CENTRALES ENERGÉTICAS CICLÓNICAS S.L. (CEC), is a limited liability company fully controlled by a limited team of professionals based in Madrid,  Spain.
  • CEC has been investigating. experimenting and developing a new revolutionary clean and green re-newable energy technology over the past 20 years.
  • The CYCLONE CONVERTER GENERATOR (CCG) is a new technology for largescale renewable energy generation, which has major technological, environmental and economical advantages over the traditional Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) and other energy systems.
  • CEC aims to lead the renewable world energy market with new energy technologies that do not consume fuel resources or produce greenhouse gas emissions. CEC owns the technology, the world patents and the rights to licence the CCG technology.

The Technology

  • The Cyclone Converter Generator (CCG) is a global technology to produce clean, renewable and cost effective energy that offers important technological, environmental, and economic improvements over traditional energy windmills.
  • Based on the concept of a packed and controlled cyclone inside a hollow tower, the CCC creates an artificial vortex from the horizontal wind as it is accelerated by the shape of the converging convectors.
  • The CCG is a global technological innovation to produce clean and renewable energy with a highpower density. The CCG can be installed onshore locations, where extreme generator is ducted with a vertical axis, and the blades are much shorter than conventional HAWT (80m 7 MW offshore windmill machines versus 12m 7MW CCG machines).
  • The CCG is based on the concept of the vortex natural phenomena that create natural cyclones and is an integrator and concentrator of dispersed environmental energies. A natural cyclone (or vortex) has two main parts: an external air mass rotating at great speed, and a vortex nucleus (cyclone eye) equivalent to a solid cylinder in upward rotation  and draws air from the base, both flows create the vortex that it is very stable.
  • Furthermore, a CCG features a higher quality and control which results a higher output factor; the moment of inertia from the vortex produces more steady state output and more kWh than a typical HAWT. It is not in fluenced by turbulence or gusts; therefore the quantity and quality of the energy produced are higher than HAWT. The vortex acts to stabilize teh external wind flow.

Ducted Vertical Axis Turbine/ Generator

The vertical axis wind turbine/generator (PM), is placed within the upper section of the structure,  where the concentration and speed of the vortex´s flow is greatest. The turbine is multipole able to produce from 3-20 KV.   This enables to have direct drive avoiding gear box and many other mechanical parts that lowers the maintenance costs of the CCG compared to HAWT.

High Density Power Concentration

The high production increase per hectare of land, the improvement of the quality of the energy produced and the high profitability of the investment make the CCG a future technology breakthrough.
